Drawing on more than twenty years of experience working for and with hundreds of non-profits, Cahoon Solutions LLC was founded to create a new model for technology consulting in the sector. Many technology consulting companies claim to serve non-profits, while in reality their main goal is maximizing their own margins. We're different. We don’t sell software or hardware, and our rates vary in line with your budget size.

Our Goal

Simply put, our goal is to help you solve your problems, through carefully selected technology tools, straight-forward training, and project management. Every non-profit has unique challenges – we don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach. ​We want to develop solutions for you that are customized to your individual needs.

Owner & Founder

Drew Cahoon

Drew began his career in non-profit administration as the Librarian/Assistant Operations Manager of the Savannah Symphony, moving quickly up the ranks to Director of Operations. He was then selected to be an Orchestra Management Fellow with the League of American Orchestras, with executive assignments with the Aspen Music Festival, the New Jersey Symphony, the South Dakota Symphony and the Baltimore Symphony. Following the League Fellowship, he became the Special Assistant to the President and subsequently the Director of Development Operations at the Baltimore Symphony. For the 13 years prior to founding Cahoon Solutions, he was a Product Specialist, Senior Consultant, and Product Manager for Jacobson Consulting Applications, where he advised hundreds of clients across the US and Canada.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Drew is an amateur violist, a Taekwondo instructor at the Robinson Theater Community Arts Center, and a volunteer rescuer for the Lost Dog Foundation.
